COMMISSIONED PORTRAITS

A painted portrait is a lasting way to capture memories of family, loved ones, colleagues, friends, or even yourself. PROCESS

Understanding every client's unique story and vision is the most crucial first step in my process. Whether through email, phone, in-person, or Skype, I work with the client to capture the tone, mood, and feeling desired for the painting. I am currently not available for sittings and live painting, however I work best off clear and high quality photographs of the individual(s). Once settled on a photo that most accurately represents the individual and the story the client wants to tell, I will begin sketching and painting the portrait. Clients will be given work in progress snapshots at the 50% completion mark, to ensure the portrait is progressing to their satisfaction.

PRICING

While my main specialty is using dry brush technique, I am available for commissioning portrait paintings in a variety of mediums including: oil, watercolour, charcoal, pastel, and mixed media. I offer a variety of sizing to meet individual needs and can also offer custom framing services for an additional fee. Watercolour portraits for an individual subject at 12inx18in start at $1,700 and Oil dry brush portraits start at $2,300.
